I went to the office super early this morning to work on a few things before I headed down to the Quidnesset Country Club to volunteer at an annual golf tournament benefiting a rehabilitation center in RI. Every year, my sorority alumni association volunteers here even though this is the first time I've been. It was gorgeous--right on the water with sailboats and immaculate landscaping. I helped sign in golfers (after which I helped them eat lunch) and then sat at the tee for the Hole-In-One $35,000 prize hole to witness if anyone made the shot (they didn't). After the tournament, I sold raffle tickets during cocktails and then helped eat dinner. :) It was a fun day!
And, I know you're wondering, so yes, I did scoot around in a golf cart all day.
