A friend of mine had plans for a "staycation" at the local Marriott but her companion canceled at the last minute, meaning that some of us got to tag along instead. The pool there is unbelievable: indoor /outdoor (you swim under the glass) with a whirlpool and an entire poolside restaurant and bar. See the blue tents? Those are cabanas with giant couches and pillows.
It really felt as though we had left Providence when we spent the afternoon swimming and lounging by the pool--what a treat!
